Hello dear friends!

At the beginning of May, I set out to make a "Mommy-filled" month full of mommy content. Once Mother's Day rolled around, I realized some of the ideas I had were a little more daunting than I was expecting. To work around this, I decided to post the first half of the "Maidens and Mums" audio on Reddit and then posted the full version on Patreon for all tiers once I actually got around to finishing it a few hours later. This reminded me of what we did for the Christmas Catalogue and it made me want to do a similar fundraiser for Mommy May too.

So just like before, I decided to donate $1 for each patron in ANY TIER, and donate it to a Women's rights focused charity. We were able to donate a total of $285 to the Global Fund for Women, which I remembered to convert to USD before donating this time 😅

What they do: Global Fund for Women provides grants and funding to grassroots women’s movements around the globe to achieve gender justice and women’s empowerment on a global scale. The organization also advocates for women’s rights through gender justice campaigns and provide research findings, case studies, and media programming on women’s issues.

What they’ve achieved: Since the organization’s inception, they have made a total of 12,242 grants to over 5,000 grassroots women’s movements, across 176 countries, including Serbia, Uganda, and Armenia. In 2019, the organization provided funding for 10,876 female leaders to end gender-based violence in their local communities.
