• Good News and Less Good News...

I'm afraid that I must come to you today with a heavy heart, as I must ask you to do me a favor. You see, I need you to join me in saying goodbye to our beloved Shipwright tier.

For those that don't know, I created this tier in February 2021, and have since done 37 commissions out of the tier alone! Including things like the Puppy series and the Bully series. Just barely over 3 a month, so I'd like to just take a moment to thank any and everyone who has been in the tier over the past year. You've given me so many different ideas and I've loved being able to bring those ideas to life, which brings me to the good news: COMMISSIONS ARE STILL HAPPENING!

If you've been in the Discord server for at least a month, then you likely know that I've been making small changes to the commission tier and its pricing for a little while now. You see, I've been making a real effort at improving my SFX  and overall audio quality lately, which has also increased the time it takes me to edit each project, which makes completing 1-3 additional audios that may or may not be private, without any sort of time extension very stressful for me. That being said, I don't want to compromise the quality of work, or for my commissioners to compromise their ideas, which brings me to the main value of this change.

At the end of this month, I will be deleting the Shipwright tier and handling commissions through PayPal! This will give me more time to work on things without the fear of not being able to complete them by the end of the month. Also, I just want to clarify that none of my current Shipwrights have ever given me a hard time about deadlines. Most (if not all) have even offered to give me more time, which I appreciate more than I can explain! That said, the fact that you cats will be charged the next month whether I finish or not makes me feel like I need to be done before then regardless of what you're okay with. You guys know I hate being bad at things, and that goes double when it comes to not meeting expectations.

This change should benefit you cats too though! Like, now you won't have to be a Shipwright to make a commission! Which means no more paying extra for the taxes added by Patreon. No more using multiple platforms to pay for add ons or tips. Nor will you have to wait for the tier to have an opening to get your request in, which probably sounds great to everyone but the current Shipwrights themselves lmao. I have something special for you cats though! I'll message each of you with a discount based on how long you've spent in the tier, as well as moving your first commission to the front of the waitlist regardless of when you actually get it in! I know these are small benefits, but I hope you understand and aren't too disappointed in me.

Now, I was hoping to explain how the new commissions would work in this post too, but I've already rambled for so long as it is lol, so I'll give you the gist for now:
    - Commissions will be fulfilled as they come in (first come, first served)
    - Turn around time will be 4-6 weeks from accepting your commission request
    - I will only work on 2 commissions at a time as to not take on too much
    - There will be an ongoing waitlist of 6 commissions (I'll open and close the form as needed)
    - Bo'suns will receive 10% off of commissions
    - Payment will be half once the commission is started and half once delivered

I know this is a lot, but I hope you cats understand. I really do think that this is a smart move that will hopefully allow me to produce better content, whilst also responding more consistently to comments and such. I love you guys immensely, and I look forward to filling your commissions in the near future đŸ’•
